Crowd and Traffic Control Management (Supervise Crowd and Traffic Control Activities) course equips learners with the skills and knowledge to effectively supervise crowd and traffic control activities during events.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Demonstrate the ability to plan for event and brief event stakeholders
Demonstrate the ability to conduct pre-event briefing to security team
Demonstrate the ability to conduct event day briefing and manage onsite and offsite deployment
Demonstrate the ability to conduct post-event debriefing and follow-up actions

For whom

Security Personnel (Security Supervisors, Senior Security Supervisors)

Entry Requirements

Secondary education without a GCE O/N Level pass or their equivalent; or
At least 3 ES WPLN Statements of Attainment at Level 3

* Those who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance.

Course Duration and Timings
24 training hours (3 days) 0900hrs to 1800hrs daily
Summative Assessment by POLWEL – 4th day (2 hours)
*All learners must attain an assessment outcome of ‘Competent’ to complete the course.
