Training Requirements for Security Supervisor

What is a Security Supervisor (SS)

A Security Supervisor (SS) is the third rank in the 5-ladder Security Progressive Wage Model (PWM).

Job Duties
  • In charge of security or fire command centre with 3 or fewer personnel
  • Incident management and reporting
  • Direct supervision
  • Execute evacuation plans and exercises

The following requirements have to be met to become a SS:

Years-in-Grade (YIG) Requirement

To become a Security Supervisor (SS), you will need to have at least 1 year experience as an SSO to meet the year-in-grade requirement.
