Terms and Conditions of Enrolment

  1. Registration of courses will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment to Apro Training Centre.
  2. Course schedules are subject to change if the minimum number of candidates for each intake is not achieved.
  3. APRO reserves the right to change the date or venue of class or cancel class due to unforseen circumstances.
  4. Singapore Citizens and PRs are eligible to apply for training grants. For courses commencing from 1 Jan 2024, SSG will no longer require a minimum 75% attendance for course fee funding and absentee payroll funding. (The removal of the 75% attendance requirement will also apply to absentee payroll and training allowance under the Workfare Skills Support (WSS) scheme under Workforce Singapore.) Attendance taking will continue to be mandatory as absentee payroll continues to be funded based on actual attended hours. Existing requirements on passing of assessments and co-payment of course fees will continue to ensure learning outcomes and commitment from individuals and employers.
If APRO’s claim for the grant is rejected by SSG for any reason whatsoever, the candidate or his company shall pay the full course and assessment fees.
  5. Malaysian candidates need a valid work permit and are not entitled to any government grants.
  6. Candidates who fail their assessment may request for a reassessment date but payment of reassessment fees must be made in full before APRO makes reassessment bookings provided always the reassessment must be completed within 60 calendar days from the end of the initial training date. In the event, the reassessment date falls after the 60 calendar days, candidates will have to pay for the full course fee.
  7. Assessment will be confirmed one working day before the assessment date. Any absenteeism from confirmed assessment will be marked as “absent” unless an MC for the assessment date is produced within 3 days of the assessment date. Trainees who did not attend/achieve the minimum attendance requirement to attend confirmed assessments will also be marked as “absent” for assessment. Trainees who are marked “absent” for assessment will have to pay re-assessment fees if they wish to attend training for the same module subsequently.
  8. Subject to valid reasons being given, candidates may defer their course or assessments dates. If candidates fall sick on day of assessment, MCs must be presented within 3 calendar days after the assessment date stating candidate was sick on day of assessment. Candidates may defer only once and the new date shall be at APRO’s discretion. Course and assessment fees for any deferment will be forfeited if candidates do not attend on the dates proposed by APRO.
