Skillsfuture qualification award

 

The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) is a national credential system that trains, develops, assesses and certifies skills and competencies for the workforce. Singaporean workers who attain a WSQ full qualification can apply for a cash award of $200 or $1,000 (disbursed via PayNow). Your eligibility for the award is based on the date of attainment of your WSQ qualification.

First-time attainment of one of the following WSQ full qualification ($200 Award):

First-time attainment of one of the following WSQ full qualification ($1,000 Award):
Diploma

From 1 January 2016 onwards

Every attainment of the following WSQ full qualification ($200 Award):
Certificate
Higher Certificate
Advanced Certificate

Every attainment of the following WSQ full qualification ($1,000 Award):
Diploma
Specialist Diploma
Graduate Certificate
Graduate Diploma

how to apply

Step 1: Pass all the modules for the full qualification.
Certificate in Security
Advanced Certificate in Security
Diploma in Security

Step 2: Download the relevant Statements of Attainment from myskillsfuture.gov.sg. Under ‘Digital Services’ > ‘Individuals’ > ‘Download Certificates’.

Step 3: Email the assessing body of the last module to request for full qualification. Typically, it will be POLWEL (aao_admin@polwel.org.sg). Please check with your training provider if you are unsure.
In your email, please include:
– Full name as per NRIC
– NRIC number
– Statements of Attainment of the required modules

Step 4: Apply for the award on myskillsfuture.gov.sg. Under ‘Digital Services’ > ‘Individuals’ > ‘Apply for SkillsFuture Qualification Award’.
