APRO CPR+AED COURSE

Overview

Based on National Health Statistics from the Ministry of Health in 2021, Singapore, Ischemic Heart Disease (lack of blood circulation to heart muscles) is the second most common cause of death, contributing to 20.1% of total mortality. A person with heart disease is prone to a heart attack, which could result in Cardiac Arrest and sudden death.
Survival from sudden death can be maximised with the prompt application of basic life-saving skills of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), followed by medical intervention by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) Paramedics.
In this Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) accredited course, you will learn the necessary knowledge and practical skills on how to perform CPR and use an AED, during any appropriate situation, for an adult casualty.
