Security Risk Analysis (Conduct Security Survey) SEC-SRM-4002-1.1

Overview

Security risk analysis is an essential process. It is the systematic approach to assess if the initial survey has indeed met with its objectives. This operation also helps to identify other problems that may have not have surfaced during the initial survey.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Analyse and understand client requirements, and rationale for conduct of Survey
  • Seek confirmation from client concerning survey requirements, implications and objectives
  • Accurately define survey objectives
  • Identify any constraints impacting on the survey
  • Prepare and present survey plan in accordance with established organizational procedures
  • Identify the interests of regulatory bodies and other parties
  • Maintain confidentiality of information at all times

For whom

Security Supervisors with Full Advance Certificate, Security Agency Managers, Security Operations Managers, Chief Security Officers, Security Executives

Entry Requirements (must have one of the following):

  • GCE ‘N’ level (English)
  • Able to read, write and speak English at ES WPLN Level 7
  • At least 2 years experience in Security Supervision
  • Completed WSQ Advanced Certificate in Security (Only need to attempt 7 modules instead of 8)

* Those who do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance.

Certification: WSQ Statement of Attainment issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)

Course Duration and Timings:
26 training hours (3 days) 0900hrs to 1800hrs daily
Summative Assessment by POLWEL – 2 weeks after course date (2 hours)
Interview by POLWEL – 1 week after written assessment (1 hour)
