Conduct Security Screening of Person and Bag (CSSPB) course equips the learners with the knowledge and skills to conduct security search of persons and bags. The course will cover key topics such as how to perform security screening of person with walk-through metal detectors (WTMD), and hand-held metal detectors (HHMD), how to conduct manual screening (pat-down) of person and how to conduct manual bag search. This module is useful for security officers who wish to take on access control duties on sites and at events.

Entry Requirements
- Able to listen, read, write and speak English at WPLN Level 2 or equivalent
*Those that do not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to interview before acceptance.
Course Duration and Timings
2 days (16 training hours) 0900hrs to 1800hrs daily
Summative Assessment by POLWEL – 3rd day (2 hours)
*All learners must attain an assessment outcome of ‘Competent’ to complete the course.
